Summer Steps for 2007 was a special time
of spiritual enrichment! The participants
came from all corners of the globe, and met
in Israel to deepen their knowledge of the
scriptures.

Special for this year was the addition of
Jaffa and Zedekiah's Cave to the tour
schedule. The group also camped on the
shores of the Sea of Galilee, and explored
the Roman ruins and Beit She'an.

The field lectures for 2007 focused on early
Christianity. At the Jerusalem
Archaeological Park the group learned
about Jewish and Christian practices of
baptism, and in Masada the group learned
about synagogue culture.

Class topics included seminars on the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict from both the
Israeli and Palestinian perspectives. The
team visited a local peace organization,
and visited the Arab city of Ramallah.
