The Summer Steps Tour for July 2006 was
truly unique! The theme was "Living the
Promise," and the conference was a great
time for fellowship and learning.

This tour was special because a political
situation prevented the group from visiting
the north of Israel. However, this allowed
extra time for an in-depth exploration of the
history and archaeological sites of
Jerusalem and Southern Israel!

The 2006 tour group covered many exciting
sites that normal tourists often miss due to
time, and spent an exciting three days
visiting Jordan. The team went shopping in
Amman, saw the same view Moses
experienced from Mount Nebo, and
explored Petra.

Classes included an analysis of Western
views toward Islam, with a question and
answer session with a Muslime Sheik.
Also, the team enjoyed a class on Judaic
beliefs and practices.
